The latest 2017 Miracle Million Club members

2017 newest Miracle Million Club members! Let’s give a virtual round of applause for the following:

The Entravision Radiothon event was a huge success thanks to a multi-platform coast-to-coast effort. This Radiothon is the largest Hispanic syndicated programming event; broadcast on three networks plus local programming in over 100 markets.  A digital push employed a dedicated website supported by social and mobile media, a continuous live stream of celebrity and patient interviews, stats and radiothon updates during all three days of the event.

The main donation driver included Entravision’s phenomenal talent lineup; from Alex El Genio Lucas and Armida y La Flaka on their “Jose” network to Erazno y La Chokolata, Carla “La Plebe” Soto & Piolin on the Tricolor network. They also added La Suavecita FM in Los Angeles with the support of Myra Berenice, The LM Show and Lupita Del Castillo.

All came together to set a new record and a new standard for our media events raising over 3.2 million dollars for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and ensuring our local hospitals continue to serve the children in their local communities.

Thanks to Giant and Our Family Foundation for their 2017 fundraising efforts.  Giant ran two campaigns this year in 170 stores, a summer balloon campaign raising over $658,525 and a fall candle campaign in November raising over $675,000. Those fundraisers, along with Foundation donations brought their annual total to $1.7 million.

Team Rooster Teeth, led by the fearless Jack Pattillo and Caiti Ward, hosted their 7th Extra Life marathon. Broadcasting their event, and raising donations through antics and crazy shenanigans, this single Extra Life team raised over $1 million #ForTheKids: HERE

The 18th annual Eric and Kathy’s Kids event for Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago culminated on Friday with 9 WTMX “The Mix” posting another impressive total. The final tally of $1,001, 556 will help kids in the Chicago area and around the world, have healthier and brighter futures.

“The Mix” featured a daily “Eric and Kathy Kid of the Day” Monday through Thursday. WTMX took donations throughout each day in honor of that days featured Kid.  The Eric and Kathy morning show capped off the week of fundraising with a live broadcast from Lurie Children’s Hospital on Friday morning from 6-10am. Hundreds of volunteers were on hand, as thousands of Mix listeners responded to heroic stories of Lurie kids and their families with generous donations.
