September Rewind: Thank You Costco & Kendra Scott!
In the month of September, Costco Wholesale & Kendra Scott committed to changing kids’ health by each running a campaign to support their local children’s hospitals. In the Austin area, Costco warehouses and Kendra Scott stores supported Dell Children’s and check out below all the great work they did!
During the month of September when customers checked out at any register at Costco, donations were made to help kids like Owen Coulter, our 2020 CMN Champion. The Costco campaign ran through September 30 where funds stayed local to directly help kids in our community. Since 1988, Costco employees and members have donated more than [insert amount Costco has donated overall to hospital] for kids treated at Dell Children’s. Check out these photos of the North Austin warehouse that raised more than $70,000!
Philanthropy is woven into the fabric of Kendra Scott, and during the month of September, customers helped make miracles happened for Dell Children’s Medical Center by rounding up in-store at local Austin-area locations or donating online.
In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness month, the Austin flagship Kendra Scott store held two additional fundraising efforts to support the hospital. The first was a two-day in-store and online Kendra Gives Back event where Kendra Scott donated 20% of all qualifying purchases. The second was a unique and exclusive offering within the Sips & Sweets Café. The Café offered three items during the month of September to support Dell Children’s – a lemonade cocktail, mocktail, and a CMN-branded cookie!
Throughout the year, be sure to share how you do good and support Dell Children’s by sharing your experience on social media using #youdogood and tagging Kendra Scott on Facebook and Instagram.
