MIX Makes Miracles Radiothon presented by Whataburger

On December 12, 2017 the MIX Makes Miracles Radiothon benefiting Dell Children’s Medical Center reached a record breaking fundraising total of over $198,000 for the kids of Central Texas. Booker, Alex and Sara from MIX 94.7 were live on the air from Dell Children’s Tree House Lobby for a total of 12 hours from 6am to 6am inviting their listeners to call in their support. The MIX Makes Miracles Radiothon is such a special event not only because of the incredible stories shared by Dell Children’s patients and staff, but because of all the different parts of the community that come together to make that total possible. Whataburger is the presenting sponsor of the Radiothon, and Austin Area locations collected donations for Dell Children’s for over a month leading up to the event. Whataburger alone raised over $134,000 and came to the hospital to celebrate by having staff deliver delicious food to Dell Children’s employees. Additional support came from Austin Chapter of Credit Unions,  Macsales.com, and RE/MAX, plus all the generous donors who called in, donated online or bought a one of a kind auction item to help raise funds. On behalf of Dell Children’s Foundation, Board of Trustees, and most importantly the families of Central Texas, we are so grateful for everyone’s support this holiday season.
