CMN Partners Support Dell Children’s through Winter Storm

Last month, millions of Texans were without power or water while our state experienced sub‐freezing temperatures. These weather conditions also caused significant challenges for our hospitals and healthcare facilities. Through it all, our hospitals and caregivers remained committed to serving our community during this crisis, in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic. And once again, we witnessed an incredible outpouring of community spirit and support for our associates. This support was even shown through out Children’s Miracle Network partners – including Walmart and Ace Hardware.

Ace Hardware retailer, Breed & Co., helped provide trash bags for the facilities team when a need arose at Dell Children’s Medical Center. When Dell Children’s was low on water and milk because of supply delays, all we had to do is reach out to our neighborhood Walmart partners who were happy to donate 50 gallons of fresh milk and a pallet of water for the kids. Dell Children’s Logan Jenkins met Walmart Market 82’s David Shepard at Austin location # 5317 to load up the goods and bring them safely back to the hospital.

Thank you Children’s Miracle Network partners for your support year-round to help provide the best possible care for children in Central Texas.
